LAHORE: Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram?s Huma Wasim 42, passed away at Chennai?s Apollo Hospital on Sunday, Indian media reported.
Huma Wasim was admitted to Indian city Chennai?s Apollo Hospital on Tuesday after her condition worsened while an air ambulance carrying her to Singapore from Lahore made a scheduled refuelling halt at the airport.
The hospital sources were earlier quoted as saying that the condition of Huma Wasim was critical. She had suffered a multiple organ failure and was put on ventilator support, sources said.
