Money hai toh honey hai: Review

Money hai toh honey hai: Review

Money hai toh honey hai: Review

This is very difficult, to write a review after you are psychologically injured surviving a chi-chi movie. Ever wondered why we always see Govinda more on cable channels and not much on the big screen.

Money hai toh honey hai: Review

The fact of the matter is, I could hear people laughing. Although excessively slow, some moments in the film sure are funny. When I decided that I should book the tickets since Ganesh Acharya is the director of this film, presuming that his succeess in a few dozen movies as a choreographer must have helped his dexterity as a director. Mission Istanbul and Money hai toh honey hai were equally risky to watch, so this one was preferred.

Muazzam Beg’s plot is little crazy, but suited for these type of movies. The film has been shot in some amazing locations. Everything has been done abroad.

The actors are just about ok, other than Govinda, Manoj Bajpai and Archana Puran Singh. Celina Jaitley, Aftab Shivdasani, Ravi Kishan, Upen Patel, Kim Sharma, Hansika Motwani, and Isha Koppikar have done a very typical job.

Ganesh Acharya’s choreography is splendid as always. The whole movie has hip-hop break beat style music giving the chance to Ganesh to display his skills.

The cast doesn’t know how to dance, even Govinda has lost his charm and flexibility. So you will end up watching the other accompanists who are great professional firang dancers. In one of the songs we have Ganesh himself with his hefty, but versatile styles blooming out from the screen.

Watch this film is you are a Govinda fan, otherwise if you really have nothing else to do. Slapstick humor, a weak plot and
unamusing actors make it worth the video-coach buses and no more.

But for a ‘behja ghar pe rakhke aa jaa’ kind of entertainment, we would advice you to… go ahead! :)
