Aamir Khan is Tata Sky’s Brand Ambassador
Direct-to-Home operator Tata Sky has signed Bollywood superstar-producer-director Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador.
Aamir would feature in all Tata Sky brand and product communication, including advertisements in TV, print and radio.
"I am delighted to be associated with Tata Sky. Since its launch, Tata Sky has redefined television viewing in India, and I am proud to be associated with a brand that epitomizes continued innovation and excellence in home entertainment," said Aamir.
Interestingly, Tata Sky's main rival Dish TV has Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador!
Speaking on Aamir's association with the group, Tata Sky CEO and Managing Director Vikram Kaushik said that the Bollywood star perfectly fits with the brand.

As our brand ambassador, he will be instrumental in communicating the benefits of Tata Sky to consumers across the country. Mallika Sherawat in Jennifer Lynch’s Naagin - The Snake Woman
Hollywood filmmaker Jennifer Lynch, daughter of four-time Oscar nominee David Lynch, is all set to shoot the film about a subject, that has always intrigued the West - the ancient myth concerning the Naag-Naagin (snakes) relationship!
Titled Naagin - The Snake Woman, the film has Mallika Sherawat in the lead role. The film also stars Irrfan Khan as a cop, who has been given the task to pin down the Naagin and destroy her powers.
The movie will be shot in Chennai and the backwaters of Kerala, with an Indian cast and American villain. Which makes Jennifer the first Hollywood director to actually shoot a Hindi language film!
"Don't perceive me as a Western director, but just another director who's hoping to give a good film to the world," said Jennifer, whose last film - Surveillance - starring Bill Pullman and Julia Ormond premiered at Cannes in June, this year.
"Essentially, at the heart of every story, there is love. So when director Govind Menon and producer Vikram approached me with the subject, I was spellbound! We have fables of vampires and Cindrellas, and you guys have such interesting legends about snakes. It's super cool to be a Naagin! I come from a country where snakes are looked down upon and associated with negative energy. Here, snakes are worshiped!" exclaimed Jennifer.
According to the filmmaker, the world believes India is a snake charmers' country, but nobody knows the real story behind this misconception. Jennifer intends to dispel this myth with a classy, musical murder mystery made with special effects.
"I will change the perspective in the West about snakes and they will be respected hereafter," said the director who has been exposed to India through the Vedas, since her father studied Ayurveda.
Why she chose Mallika for the role?
"She has it in her. Her body is the hallmark of most of her films, but I am focusing on the sensuality of her face and her eyes. There are scenes where she will be the babe she is in real life, and then there are those sensually done songs! I feel Mallika has that crossover quality. I will help her achieve that, she's definitely made for bigger things," said Jennifer.
Hollywood's special effects wizard Robert Kurtzman, who has worked with the likes of Quentine Tarantiono and Robert Rodriquez, has been roped in to create unbelievable graphics for the film.

The sexy chick of B-Town, Ayesha Takia will be finally getting rid of the big assets she has been known for….her boobs! The gorgeous babe is facing problems managing them!
Rumors had it that Ayesha had taken some hormonal injections, to increase her bust size to ‘D’ shape a few years back, which certainly helped her gain the plus sized breasts.
But now she is thinking of getting the size reduced back to normal, apparently due to some shoulder trouble.
Ayesha, who has done a number of flicks in Bollywood, started her career with Taarzan - The Wonder Car in 2004, but the four years of her career have not brought her much success in Bollywood, except for her 2006 release Dor.
Well, we only wish that the surgery would bring her back some luck, as her fans are eagerly awaiting a hit from the lass.

She went to Ruia College in Mumbai and studied Life Sciences. While in college, she did a model shoot for Gautam Rajyadhaksa. She took part in the 1995 Miss India Contest, won the Miss Talent Crown and modeled for L'Oreal, Rexona, Camay, Tips & Toes and Coca-Cola, among others.
Her first movie was the Tamil En Swasa Katre opposite Arvind Swamy, one of the most successful actors that time. She received positive reviews for her role and decided to pursue a career in Bollywood: Her first movie was Ek Tha Dil Ek Thi Dhadkan (1997), directed by Shah Rukh Sultan, and has yet to be released.
Koppikar starred in some minor roles in Fiza (2000) and Pyaar Ishq aur Mohabbat (2001) until in 2002, she starred in Ram Gopal Varmas Company as an Item girl in the song Khallas!, which created her nickname Khallas-girl and caused her breakthrough.

Tall, beautiful, talented, the Khallas girl, Isha Koppikar shot to fame with her song number in Ram Gopal Verma's movie Company. Born in 1976, Isha had never imagined that she would become an actress. Instead, she had hoped to walk in her father's footsteps and become a doctor. “I did not get enough marks to enroll for MBBS,” says Isha, who graduated in life sciences from Ruia College.

But she got the much wanted and needed break from Ram Gopal Verma. Her item song ‘Khallas’ in Company became all the rage.
Some of the other movies she worked in were Sanjay Gupta's multi starrer Kaante, Plan with Dino Morea and Krishna Cottage in which she played a ghost. She was nominated as a villain for film Qayamat. In Pinjar her performance was good but anyhow the film didn't work. She was recently in news for her controversial film Girlfriend where she played an obsessive lover to her friend Amrita Arora and did some bold scenes portraying a lesbian relationship.
Today Ishaa Khoppikar has grown beyond being just a sizzling item girl. Ishaa is now setting to sink her teeth into some really challenging roles in her forthcoming films Inteqaam, Humraahi and Raakh.
Isha loves to make friends, is Net-savvy and does a lot of chatting. “I love dancing but no discos and pubs. I am not a night person. I start my day early,” says Isha, who paints and makes candles in her free time. She is not much of a bibliophile, but is at home with self-help books.
If there is something else this Konkani girl loves doing, it is gorging on her mother's cooking. She is a food freak who hankers after butter chicken, biryani, seafood and Chinese! “I can't cook, I just do the eating.” Her parents had always been supportive of her decisions. “My family is my biggest asset and my sensitivity is my strength,” she maintains.
